The world's most celebrated tie makers — Hermès, E. Marinella, Drake's — share one defining characteristic: the finest Italian fabrics and a handmade main seam. It is this construction that allows a well-tied knot to hold its shape throughout the day and return to its original form after untying. Quality materials and proper care are why so many men still wear ties bought decades ago, their appearance suggesting they were purchased yesterday.

At Tiestore.pl we travel to Italy several times a year to source fabrics from family-owned mills proud of their regional weaving traditions. For our wool ties we also work with British mills — including the celebrated Fox Brothers of Somerset, whose cloth has been woven since 1772. Beyond printed silk and jacquard you will find ties in grenadine, shantung, cashmere, wool, cotton and linen. All ties are handmade at our tailoring atelier in Warsaw, with hand-rolled edges and natural inserts sourced from Italy — wool, wool with viscose, wool with linen, cotton — selected for the correct composition, thickness and softness to complement each fabric.
Construction and customisation
Our standard tie is a 3-fold construction, 150 cm in length and 8 cm in width. On request we sew ties in 6-fold or 7-fold (seven fold) construction, unlined with hand-rolled edges — the choice of true connoisseurs. Custom widths of 5 cm, 7 cm and 8.5 cm are also available, as well as personalisation with a hand-embroidered monogram in silk thread.
