Silk with linen is a combination of two natural fibres, handmade and finished at the Tiestore.pl tailoring atelier in Warsaw for nearly 30 years. The fabric's light structure — with the subtle sheen of silk and the natural texture of linen — keeps a tie elegant even on warmer days. Every model is finished with hand-rolled edges, available with a traditional cotton interlining or without lining in a seven-fold construction. Fabrics are sourced from family-run mills in Lombardy, where the quality of the raw material defines the character of the finished tie.

Silk and linen — a fabric for the warmer months
A silk-linen blend brings together the best of both fibres: the natural breathability and lightness of linen with the sheen and softness of silk. Linen is exceptionally durable, resistant to stretching, and kind to the skin — it cools in warm weather and retains warmth when temperatures drop. Silk adds a gentle lustre and resilience, ensuring the tie holds its shape throughout the day. The balance between the two fibres — most commonly linen 60/silk 40 or linen 80/silk 20 — determines the character of the weave and the look of the finished tie.
Fabrics and design
The silk-linen fabrics are sourced from family-run mills in Lombardy, where the tradition of tie-fabric weaving spans several generations. The colour palette is composed specifically for the spring-summer season — light beiges, sky blues, navies — with printed and jacquard patterns in geometric designs, polka dots and herringbone. Collections are produced in limited runs, meaning each model is available in a finite number of pieces.

At Tiestore.pl you will find dozens of silk-linen tie models in widths from 5 to 8.5 cm and lengths of 140, 144 and 150 cm. Available with a classic cotton interlining or unlined with hand-rolled edges in the seven-fold style. Every tie is handmade and finished in Warsaw.
Bespoke orders and monogram
We will make a silk-linen tie to a non-standard size or cut on individual request — including an elongated version with a proportionally adjusted blade for a proper knot. Every tie can be complemented with a hand-embroidered monogram in silk thread. Craft and design at the highest level.
