Cashmere is sourced from the undercoat of cashmere goats inhabiting the mountain regions of Central Asia. Each animal yields only a few dozen grams of this fibre per year — which is why cashmere remains one of the most exclusive textile materials in the world. Soft as down to the touch, yet surprisingly durable. The natural lustre of cashmere fibres gives a tie a depth and intensity of colour impossible to achieve in any other material.
