Silk with cotton
Silk-cotton blend pocket squares occupy a precisely defined position between pure silk and cotton — they carry the lustre of the former and the structure of the latter. The addition of cotton (most commonly silk 51% / cotton 49% or cotton 80% / silk 20%) stabilises the fabric, makes folding easier and ensures the square holds its shape throughout the day. Handmade at the Tiestore.pl tailoring atelier in Warsaw for nearly 30 years, available in paisley, polka dots and geometric designs across a rich palette.

Silk with cotton — what the blend achieves
Silk alone is an exceptionally elegant but demanding material — a smooth twill has a tendency to slip from the breast pocket and requires a practised hand when forming a fold. Cotton introduces natural grip and texture into the blend, stabilising the pocket square in the chest pocket without the need for additional fixing. The result is a fabric that combines the visual elegance of silk with the practical reliability of cotton — a compromise in the best possible sense.
Patterns and palette
The silk-cotton pocket squares in the Tiestore.pl collection are available in paisley across navies, sky blues, greens and neutral tones, polka dots on classic grounds, and geometric and abstract designs. The character of the patterns — expressive but never ostentatious — makes these pocket squares a natural choice for business suits, sport jackets and smart casual dressing. Every piece is carefully finished, in sizes from 26×26 to over 40×40 cm.
Pairing and bespoke orders
A silk-cotton pocket square works well where pure silk would be too formal and cotton too matte — with checked and striped suits, tweed jackets and semi-formal ensembles. The Tiestore.pl atelier will make a pocket square in a non-standard size or blend proportion on individual commission. Craft and design at the highest level.
