At the Tiestore.pl tailoring atelier in Warsaw, we have been making silk wedding ties for nearly 30 years: from grenadine woven by Fermo Fossati and Seteria Bianchi, shantung silk, and jacquard fabrics from Italian mills. The wedding collection spans white, ecru, gold, pastels and colours coordinated to a specific scheme — available as ready models or made to individual commission.

Grenadine for the wedding — a fabric for the discerning
A grenadine wedding tie is the choice of the man who understands that every detail counts in a wedding photograph. Grenadine (garza) is a silk fabric with an open gauze weave, produced only by two mills in the world: Fermo Fossati (est. 1871) and Seteria Bianchi (est. 1907), both in Como. The Tiestore.pl wedding collection offers grenadine in two weaves: prometeo (garza grossa) with its more open, pronounced structure, and garza fina with its subtler, denser character. Wedding colours: white, ecru, beige, gold, pink, lemon — each composed with light, celebratory schemes in mind.
Shantung and jacquard — alternatives to grenadine
Shantung silk, woven from tussah silk from China's Shandong province, has a characteristic dry texture and a warm, natural sheen — exceptionally well suited to the golds, champagnes and ivory tones that predominate in wedding palettes. Jacquard ties, with their pattern woven directly into the fabric structure, offer a degree of considered pattern — classic geometric designs or discreet medallions that complement rather than compete with the suit cloth.
A matched set for the groom and groomsmen
The Tiestore.pl tailoring atelier will make a matched set of ties for the groom and his groomsmen — in the same fabric, colour and width, maintaining the coherence of the entire arrangement. Every tie is finished with hand-rolled edges and available in widths from 5 to 8.5 cm and lengths of 140, 144 and 150 cm. Each tie can be complemented with a hand-embroidered monogram in silk thread — a lasting memento of the day.
Bespoke commissions
For couples seeking a fabric outside the current collection — in a colour coordinated with the gown, in a specific shade or width — the atelier will make a wedding tie to individual commission.
