Silk and linen — the warm-weather blend

A silk-linen blend brings together two natural fibres at opposite ends of the tactile spectrum: the lustrous smoothness of silk and the dry, characterful texture of linen. The linen content — most commonly 60% or 80% — introduces the characteristic slubs that are the fabric's natural signature, along with genuine breathability that makes the blend particularly suited to spring and summer dressing. The silk binds the weave and adds a restrained sheen, preventing the fabric from appearing merely casual. The result is a pocket square with personality — one that rewards examination at close quarters.

Patterns and palette

The Tiestore.pl silk-linen pocket square collection includes polka dots on grounds of navy, blue, green, brown and orange, and fine paisley designs in complementary tones. The palette is composed with the warmer months in mind — colours that work naturally with linen suits, unstructured jackets and light woollens. Every pocket square is hand-finished in sizes from 26×26 to over 40×40 cm.

Pairing and bespoke orders

A silk-linen pocket square is at its most natural with linen suits, linen-cotton jackets and lightweight summer woollens — the shared fibre creates an immediate visual coherence between the pocket square and the cloth of the jacket. It works equally well with a plain navy or grey suit as a considered textural contrast.
