Wool has a characteristic soft handle and matte texture that, combined with classic check and polka dot designs, gives the bow tie a distinctly autumnal and wintry character. Wool and the bow tie
A wool bow tie belongs to the same family as the wool tie and the silk knit — accessories whose elegance rests not on sheen but on texture and proportion. The matte surface of wool enters into natural dialogue with flannel and tweed suits, Prince of Wales check jackets and any ensemble where natural, weightier cloths predominate. The patterns — check and polka dots — are classical in the strictest sense: present in British menswear for well over a century.
The collection and bespoke orders
The Tiestore.pl wool bow tie collection comprises three self-tie models: grey-navy with green polka dots, solid dark navy, and check. All available in standard sizes. The atelier will make a wool bow tie in a non-standard size or from another wool fabric outside the current collection on individual commission. Craft and design at the highest level.
